Latest version of the, now quite popular, browser Google Chrome needed a major patch a few days ago, due to critical security flaws which included spoofing and system access from a remote location. There was multiple points of entry to make use of corrupt memory. The team from Google was fast with releasing a vendor patch, which addresses all of the security vulnerabilities that were discovered. The original Google Chrome 5.0.375.127 stable release , and for more reads on what Google Chrome is doing security wise - the Chromium Security is a good read. I urge everyone that uses Google Chrome regularly to update ASAP to the latest stable release.
